But William was billed as a main from the start right?
For two series - up until his death.

If they were going to kill Branson off I doubt they’d bother promoting him to the main cast at all! I mean look at series 2! In every single episode and yet still recurring.

surely that means it’s less likely that Fellowes will kill him off!

But seriously would they really bother promoting him to main if they were just going to kill him off?
If they do at least it won’t be until the end….

I was just reading through all these forums and GOD there are some excellent points.
Not all of which I agree with but still… Especially the first.

Who are you and what have you done with Branson?
While I obviously still love S2!Branson and I don’t think he’s a ‘far, loony left, socialist weirdo’, it has some really fantastic points as to why Fellowes has been screwing with his character. I am completely terrified that Fellowes wants us to hate Branson.
